Dorothy L. Kasper

Dorothy "Dottie" Kasper Dottie left this world for a better place on December 10th, 2011. She was born in St. Louis, MO on October 25, 1925 to James and Florence Clarke. She attended university in Indiana where she met and married Dr. August M. Kasper in 1946. In 1953 the family moved to Southern California, eventually settling in Pacific Palisades where she lived a busy life as a mother and homemaker. She moved to San Bernardino county in 1984 and started volunteering at the Calico Early Man site where she spent many happy hours digging in the dirt and giving tours. She also volunteered as a docent at the Los Angeles Zoo and San Bernardino County Museum. Dottie is survived by her husband, August, her sons Robert and Anthony of Redlands, CA., her daughters Katherine of Atascadero, CA and Patricia of Paso Robles CA, as well as five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A special thank you to the staff of Emeritus of Loma Linda where she resided the last six years. Dottie always made friends easily and left those who knew her with a smile and a little giggle. She will be missed and fondly remembered.
