Gene V. Cruz

Gene Cruz, 57, passed away Monday, January 9, at his home surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad and Margaret Cruz both of Baldwin Park, CA. 
He is survived by his two sisters, Belinda Gallardo and Sylvia Whipple along with his two brothers, Roy and Ruben Cruz.
Gene lived 25 years in Redlands, CA with his sister Sylvia and and brother-in-law, Bob. He worked for a short period of time at Teledyne Batteries and was associated with Inland Regional Center. 
Gene loved to bowl and was associated with Purple Turtles Bowling Club at Empire Bowl in Redlands. Other interests included, movies, cross word puzzles, word search, music and being with his family. 
A celebration of Gene's life will be Friday, January 20th at 9:00am with the Memorial Service beginning at 10:00am at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, CA with funeral services following at 1:30pm at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 966 N. Potrero Grande Dr., Montebello, CA   90640
