George W. Redmond

George W Redmond, 81, our beloved father, George W Redmond, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010. He was born on July 10, 1929 in Redlands, CA, son of Carl and Delia Redmond. He resided in San Clemente, CA for the past 25 years. George graduated from Redlands High School in 1947. He worked for GTE for 42 years and retired as an Operations Manager of Engineering. George was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, two brothers, and his loving wife of 59 years, Joan. He is survived by his daughters, Joyce Snyder and Husband Jeff; Jani Fichtel and Husband, Bill; Vicki Olson and husband, Marty; his son, David; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his aunt, Dorothy Burgess; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 21, from 11 AM to 12 PM followed by a memorial service at 12 PM at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave, Redlands, CA. Interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park Mausoleum in Redlands, CA at a future date.
