Alan Joseph Halla, Jr.

Mr. Alan Joseph "Jojo" Halla Jr., born on June 7, 1980 in Palm Springs, California, to Laraine Ann Afan Halla and Alan Halla Sr., passed away at age 38 on December 3, 2018. Alan attended Palm Springs High School. He was in the cabinetry industry as a Granite Installer at MasterCraft. Alan was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ludmila Hallova and Felicitas Garcia Afan; grandfathers, Josef Halla and Honofre Santos Afan; aunt, Jo Eilleen Afan Holcombe; and uncles, Alexander G. Afan and George G. Afan. He is survived by his mother, Laraine Ann Afan Halla; father, Alan Halla Sr.; son, Alan Alexander Vega Halla; sister, Tiffany Ann Halla Foster; nieces, Farrah Ann Foster, and Eva Moon Foster and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Alan loved building car models, working with his hands, cooking, going shooting, listening to music, singing and drawing. Friends and family are welcome to attend the viewing on Monday, December 10 from 12:00pm to 8:00 p.m. at EMMERSON-BARTLETT MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 703 BROOKSIDE AVE, Redlands, California, 92373-5101. A funeral service will take place, officiated by Deacon Mike Bellinder, on Tuesday, December 11 at 10:00 a.m. at EMMERSON-BARTLETT MEMORIAL CHAPEL. The burial, officiated by Deacon Mike, will follow from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Desert Memorial Park, 31705 Da Vall Dr, Cathedral City, California, 92234.
