Albino Carrillo was born June 17, 1931 in Redlands, CA to Albino and Rafaela Carrillo and passed away on February 3, 2022. He graduated from Redlands High School and attended Valley College. He served in the Marine Corp. from 1952-1954 and traveled to Hawaii and Japan during his service. After his time as a Marine, he worked at Norton Air Force Base. He met the love of his life, Stella, and they were married on April 27, 1957. In 1965, he began working as a Letter Carrier in Redlands and retired on April 1, 1990. Al was a true family man and stressed education to his daughters Susan and Diane. He made sure they had the opportunity to attend college and both graduated from the University of Redlands. He loved to take his family on vacations and to Dodger games. Al was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church (now Holy Name of Jesus) and served as a Eucharistic minister, worked in the church pantry, served meals to the needy and taught baptism classes with his wife. Al was always supportive of his daughters and his nieces and nephews as well. He coached Little League and could be counted on to attend all plays, games, graduations, and special occasions. He loved his family and they loved him. Al is survived by his wife of 64 years, Stella Carrillo and his daughter Diane Carrillo. He was preceded in death by his daughter Susan in 1981. He is also survived by his sister Carmen Carrillo and his beloved Regalado family. His sister Connie and his brother Robert preceded him in death. We are all better for having him in our lives.
