Alice Ruth Hanes

Alice Ahlstrom Hanes, 41, passed away February 21, 2020, in Palm Springs, California. She was born on January 6, 1979 in Santa Ana, California to Dorothy Ipson Ahlstrom and Mark Ahlstrom. She is survived by her fianc, Louis Olivarez, and her children, Abby Hanes, Katy Hanes, Ben Hanes, and Charlie Olivarez. She is also survived by her parents, Mark and Dorothy Ahlstrom, and siblings Becky Walters, Bill Ahlstrom, Jon Ahlstrom, and Richard Ahlstrom.
Alice graduated from Yucaipa High School and Crafton Hills College, received an associate degree in early childhood development. In 1999 Alice married Bryce Hanes. They lived in Yucaipa and Redlands California. They were very happy until Bryce was killed in 2015 while on duty working as a San Bernardino Police Officer. She was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be sorely missed.
Funeral is Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 10 am inside The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint Chapel located at 12776 6th Street, Yucaipa, CA 92399.
