Alma Lois Dickey

Alma Lois Dickey died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Yucaipa in the early morning of April 3rd, 2010. Born Alma Lois Laird in Pear Valley, Texas on April 19, 1917. She was planning to celebrate her 93rd birthday at the Grand Canyon next week. She was married in 1934 to Martin L. Dickey together they raised 3 sons: Marlin, Ed and Fred. Alma is survived by her sons, their wives, 8 grandchildren and 12 great- grand children. Alma called California her home for 91 years. She retired from Patton State Hospital where she worked as a Psychiatric Technician for 20 years. Alma was an active member of Solid Ground Christian Fellowship in Redlands, California. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her. Funeral Services were held on Thursday, April 8th, 2010 at 11:00 am. at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 35208 Yucaipa, Ca with burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Desert Lawn 11251 Desert Lawn Drive, Calimesa, CA.
