Altha Joan Hedman

Altha Joan Hedman, 84, of Yucaipa, died on Thursday, November 26,2020. She was born in Elmira New York on January 17, 1936 and in 1949, the family moved to California. As a teenager, Altha got a job at Disneyland and actually worked there on opening day of 1955! She graduated from the University of Redlands and started her teaching career at Yucaipa Elementary School. Altha Married Monte Hedman in 1956 and had 60 wonderful years; raised three beautiful daughters, has three wonderful Son in Laws, 12, grandchildren and 6 Great grand children. She retired as a Kindergarten Teacher in 1996.
Altha is preceded in death by her husband Monte, sister Ruth and brother Raymond.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 5, 2020 in the Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 35208 Yucaipa Boulevard, Yucaipa, CA. with a viewing beginning 1/2 hour prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
