Anna Marie Russell, (Collins), passed away on April 16, 2024, in Redlands, California. She was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Bob. Daughters, Nikki Mitchell (Bill) and Julie Bischoff (Brian) as well as grandchildren Robert Pratt and Courtney Amico (Robert) and great-granddaughter Annalise. Ann was born October 9, 1936 to Myron J. and Edna I. Collins in Fontana California. She attended Chaffey High School. Graduating in 1954. Ann went on to attend Cal State San Jose. Ann, married Robert E. Russell in 1959 in Fontana, California. In those years they went on to live in San Jose, Riverside and Redlands, California. Ann worked as the Education Director for the Cancer Society of San Bernardino, CA. She and her husband, Bob, also owned and operated Brookside Healthcare Center in Redlands, California, from 1990 to 2003. Beyond her professional endeavors, Ann was actively involved in various philanthropic organizations. She was a member of The Assistance League of Redlands, Redlands Hertage Auxiliary, Bonnes Meres, Redlands Symphony Association, and Redlands Library Association, Family Service Association of Redlands, YWCA, YMCA, April Morning Club and Town and Gown. Ann was known for her dedication to family and community. Ann's impact on her community through her work and volunteerism will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11:30 AM at The Redlands Country Club. Memorial donations may be made to Redlands Community Hospital Foundation and to Family Service of Redlands.
