Anthony Lee Amendt

Tony Lee Amendt was born August 31, 1949 in Orange County, California.  The son of Eloise and Leo Amendt, he was the second of four children. 
            Tony Amendt lived in San Bernardino for most of his childhood, attending Holy Rosary and Aquinas High School.   He was fortunate enough to have just attended his 50th High School reunion.  Tony enjoyed his daily laps in the lap pool at the Drayson Center, cooking delicious meals and gardening in his backyard. 
            Tony began working at the age of 16 for his parents’ business, Amendt Oil Company.  He then found his love for real estate and worked a realtor in the community for more than 15 years.  Tony had a great affection for the arts and was the President of Inland Dance Theater, Inc., for many years. 
            Tony is survived by his wife of 36 years, Diane Amendt, his son, Ryan Amendt, his daughter and son in law, Katy and Nathan Swift and his granddaughter Kinley Swift. 
            A Celebration of Life will held at 11:00 AM, on August 25, 2018, at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave, Redlands, CA 92373, Reception to follow. Donations can be made in Tony’s honor to, Inland Dance Theater, Inc., P.O. Box 3691
