ARTURO LLAMAS 

02/13/1929 - 01/13/2023 ARTURO LLAMAS SR, 93, of Redlands, California, passed on January 13, 2023. Arturo was born on February 13, 1929. He came to the United States when he was 19. He worked in a packing house and would pick fruit. Then he got a job in the union and stayed there until he retired. During this time he met his wife Esther Roque and had 4 sons, Arturo, Frankie, Ernie and Michael Llamas.

He was survived by his brothers Frank Llamas from Redlands and Alfredo Llamas from Aguascalientes, Mexico; his sons Arturo Llamas Jr, Ernie Llamas and the baby of them all Michael Llamas; his stepson Charlie Wingate; his grandchildren Felecia Llamas and Harley Llamas; his great grandchildren Eryana, Merissa, Zoey, Jaxson, Esther, and Ezekiel. He enjoyed his family trips whether it be back home to Mexico to visit family or just to Sturgis to visit friends and have a good time. As long as family was together he was happy. Family was everything to him.

Viewing and rosary will be held on Thursday, February 9th, 4-7pm at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands. Mass will be held on Friday, February 10th, 11am at the Holy Name of Jesus on 1205 Columbia St., Redlands.
