Aubree Balling Horspool passed from this world on September 23rd, 2024. She lived hard and played hard, refusing to let the neurodegenerative disease she suffered from slow her down too much. She was a champion swimmer, avid canyoneer, voracious consumer of pie, audio book aficionado, slalom skier, and seizer of days. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University, majoring in Therapeutic Recreation so she could play professionally. She squeezed every ounce of life out of her short 38 years on this Earth, and joyfully moved on to reunite with loved ones that passed on before her. She leaves behind loving family and friends, including her husband Taylor and son Sam, who look forward with anticipation to the time they can enjoy her company again and continue their adventures. She wishes for those she leaves behind to have fun, and Carpe Diem. A celebration of life for Aubree will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 306 E Ave L in Calimesa at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28th.
