Barbara A. Robinson

Barbara A. Robinson age 87, of Yucaipa, California died peacefully at home Friday, June 5, 2009 after a long illness. She was born in Brewer, Maine on December 11, 1921, the daughter of Victor and Doris (Ware) Rideout. She lived in Hampden and Bangor until marrying her second husband, Bill Robinson, then moving to England on his tour with the Air Force. Upon their return, they lived in various places in Washington State and California, including a number of years in Banning where she and Bill operated Arbor Greenhouse. She also was a Secretary, working for various agencies, including the U.S. Forest Service in San Bernardino. She is survived by her daughter, Carol of Yucaipa, three sons, Bill of Yucaipa, Victor of Wichita Falls, Texas and Danny of Banning and two step-daughters, Kathy of Salinas, California and Noleigh of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina as well as numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2009 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 35208 Yucaipa Blvd. Yucaipa, California. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Yucaipa. Interment will follow in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California. Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
