Betty Jo Horner

Betty Jo Horner was born in Terre Haute , Indiana on October 18, 1931. She was welcomed to Heavens gates on Auguat 11th, 2020.
A loving mother and wife, Betty was an excellent baker and enjoyed preparing treats for her family and friends all year, especially during the holidays. Over the years she collected a library of cookbooks and often experimented with different recipes. She also loved to watch food and cooking channels. She was also a sports fan and enjoyed watching her favorite team, the Los Angeles Dodgers, on TV and also enjoyed watching videos of her Grandsons baseball games.
Betty was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Richard Paul Horner. She was also predeceased by her Father Henery, Mother Carrie and sister Peggy. Betty is survived by her son Russell Horner and his wife Sylvia, daughter Carrie Rueda and husband Tony, daughter Missy Thies and husband Fred. She is also survived by three grandsons, Nick and Brian Thies and Jacob Horner.
The family will have a small memorial service on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, from 10:00am 12:00 PM at Emmerson Bartlett Funeral Home in Redlands, CA. A grave site service celebrating her life will be held the same day at Resurrection Cemetery in Monterey Park starting at 1:30 PM.
