Betty Lou Hornbrook, 89, wife of the late Cleophas William Hornbrook Jr, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in Redlands California. She was born on May 7, 1931 in Boise, Idaho. She was the daughter of Samuel Kaneaster and Rose Zabriski.
Betty was a teacher for the Rosemead School District for eighteen years. She was an excellent pie maker. Betty created beautiful quilts for all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Betty was an avid reader and jigsaw puzzle solver. She loved playing a variety of board and card games. She traveled extensively in retirement with her late husband and then with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, William, of Las Vegas, Nevada, David, and his wife Susan of Vacaville, California, daughters, Jennette and husband Michael of Yucaipa, California, and Debby and her husband Greg of Dolan Springs, Arizona. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.
