Bula A. Fitzgerald

Bula Janet (Anderson) Fitzgerald, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend was born on October 30, 1925 in Ephraim, UT. She attended Snow College and graduated in 1945. She married Sherman Kirkham Fitzgerald on April 18, 1947. They were married for 56 years before Sherman preceded her in death in January 2003. Together they had 4 children - Jeanette Fitzgerald Quist (Steve) of Nampa, Id, Kate Fitzgerald of Encino, CA who preceded her in death, Lisa Fitzgerald Heath of Provo, UT, and Kirk Fitzgerald (Cindy) of Ammon, ID. She was the grandmother to 15 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
They moved to Redlands, CA in 1969 and loved contributing to the community. Bea, as her friends called her, worked at Smiley Public Library for 19 years and loved the interaction with her friends and co-workers. She was a docent at the Lincoln Shrine for many years, volunteering with her beloved Sherm. She was also a docent at the Kimberley Crest Manor for many years. She has been a member of the community at Plymouth Village for 16 years and passed peacefully away at 94 on January 5, 2020.
The funeral will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Redlands LDS church located at 640 S. Center St. in Redlands, CA. The interment will be on Tuesday, January 21st at 11:30 am in the Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA 92518.
