Carol Barlow Cutler died at home in Redlands, California, on the morning of Tuesday, January 24, 2012. She was 83. Carol was born on December 20, 1928, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ruth and Arnold J. Clinger. She moved with her mother and sister to Burbank, California, when she was 13. She attended John Muir and Burbank high schools. In October 1950, she went to Hawaii to serve an 18-month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Ralph Easton Cutler on September 5, 1952. Ralph and Carol moved to Seattle, Washington, with their three sons and daughter in 1963. In 1966, their fifth child was born, a daughter. Carol and Ralph moved with their youngest daughter to Redlands, California, in 1981. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, and son, Mark Cutler. She is survived by her children, Drew Cutler of Redlands, Curtis Cutler of Riverton, Utah, Carin Ferris of Tucson, Arizona, Allison Haight of Redlands and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands on Friday, January 27th at 11:00 a.m. Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands is handling arrangements.
