Carol Grace O'Leary

Carol Grace O Leary, 72, of Vacaville, California passed away on February 22, 2013, after a two year battle with cancer. Carol was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on March 8, 1940; she graduated from San Bernardino High School and continued on to receive a degree in cosmetology, working her professional life as a cosmetologist. She lived in Yucaipa, California until moving to Vacaville, California two years ago to be near family. Carol was married to William Bill O Leary on June 13, 1959 and they were married 45 years, until Bill s passing in 2004. Carol is survived by her sisters Florence Jones and Ruth Stafford, children Debora Cullen (Gary), Carolynn Fluent (Curt) and Dennis O Leary (Janet). She is also survived by grandchildren Michael Cullen, Genessa Hull, Samuel Obeso (Dionne), Jeremiah Fluent (Tara) Saundra Starling (Miles), Christina Molloy (David), Joshua Fluent (Michelle), Christian O Leary, Rebecca O Leary, Cassandra James, Kaylyn Remily, Alexander O Leary, Brittany Cullen, Kiera Cullen, Kenny O Leary, Cordell Cullen and Billy Cullen. She is also survived by 12 wonderful great-grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Ora Edson, husband Bill, sister Doris Wilson, son Mark O Leary and his wife Deborah and great-grandson Gabriel Obeso. A viewing is scheduled March 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., with a memorial/victory service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Desert Lawn Funeral Home in Calimesa, California. Gordon Jones, Carol s nephew, will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow the memorial service. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Emerson Bartlett of Yucaipa, California. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
