Carol Sophia Taylor

Carol Sophia Taylor, resident of Yucaipa, entered into rest on November 12, 2009. She was born October 5, 1928 and was a native of Lyons, New York until December of 1984. She was an employee of the General Electric Company, retiring after 32 years of distinguished service. She was a member of the General Electric Atom Club and Quarter Century Club of San Jose. Carol is survived by a dear daughter Donna Nichols (George) , two granddaughters, Michelle McGrew Cooper (Guy) and Kimberly Ann Watts (Derrick), two great granddaughters, four great grandsons, and a great great granddaughter, all of Kansas. She is also survived by her sister Martha Clark, nephews Garry Clark, Ronald Clark (Donna), great nieces Kirsten Clark Stathes (Tom), Kelli Clark Granillo (Sy), several cousins in Wurzburg and Munich, Germany, and her dear companion, Don Starrett. She was pre-deceased in death by brothers Augustus Helch (Joan) and Robert Helch of Lyons, New York. Visitation was held on Sunday, November 15, at 2:00pm at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel of Redlands. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Redlands Community Hosital Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, 350 Terracina Blvd.,Redlands, CA 92373.
