Christine Foster

July 26, 1948 — August 20, 2021

Christine Foster
Chris was born on July 26, 1948 and was adopted by Bill and Marge Zuen. She spent her early years in Massachusetts before her dad was transferred to Norton Afb , and eventually settled in Redlands, attending Redlands High School, graduating Class of ‘66.

After graduation, she had a brief marriage and during that time she gave birth to her son Michael in December of 1970,.She moved to Reno and Hawaii before she moved back to Redlands to focus on her career and raising her son.

Chris went on and spent decades breaking down barriers in a male dominated career and proceeded to be a Branch manager at Household finance.

In retirement, she worked a part time job, but mainly focused all her time and efforts into doting and helping Michael and her grandson, Troy Foster in whatever they needed. She was so dedicated to her family that she attended every baseball, basketball and football game that Troy played in, often being referred to as “Momma Foster” by the other parents and kids.

Chris was an extroverted, caring , and loving Mom, Grandma and Friend. She spent most of her summers at Hermosa Beach , Backyard BBQing or even going to sports games or concerts. However, her pride and joy came from spending time with her son Michael and her grandson Troy.

Chris will be laid to rest on Friday, September 3rd at 11am at Hillside Memorial in Redlands.
