Damon Louis Mitcham

Damon Louis Mitcham, age 46, resident of Redlands, California, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2015. Damon was born on November 22, 1969 in Encino, California. He was a local business owner until the onset of the rare blood cancer that ultimately took his life. Damon also held a State of California Certified Firefighter II credential. He loved being with his family. He spent most of this time with his wife and three boys. Damon was an amazing father and he adored his children. He was equally devoted to his grown daughter and her three children. He was also a devoted football fan and had high hopes for the Raiders. He, in fact, loved all sports and could get enthusiastic about any one of them. He enjoyed camping, taking trips to the beach, fishing, amusement parks, and going to the movies, and always with his three boys. He intended to improve his golf game as well as build an empire for this children. Damon always wore a smile and was everyone's best friend. He maintained a positive attitude throughout his life, even in the darkest of times. Damon is survived by his wife Ronda, sons Damon II, Jordan and Noah; daughter Veronica, grandsons Andrew, Roy and granddaughter Isabel; mother Laura Mitcham; sister Gemma Wilson, brothers Stephen and Ian and brother in law, Chad. Also, his cousins Darren and Tracy. A memorial service will be held at Redlands Seventh Day Adventist Church, 520 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, California 92373, Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00am. Burial to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Riverside. After the burial there will be a gathering back at the church with food and drinks.
