Daniel Thomas Bahner

July 12, 1952 — December 23, 2015

Daniel Bahner of Redlands, California passed away on December 23rd at Redlands Community Hospital. Born in Torrance, California  to parents Lela Mae and Clarence Louis Bahner. He is survived by his wife Nancy Bahner and his two children Marie and Dylan Bahner and 5 step children, Eric Wilson, Neil Wilson(Kristen), Bree Goodman(Shane), Tara Wilson(Daniel), Carl Wilson(Autum) and 7 grandchildren. He was very proud of each of them and loved them all very much. He was an English Professor at Crafton Hills Community College since 1992. Recently he completed his Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership through Cal State Fullerton. Daniel was a very active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he held many wonderful roles serving his church. His relationship with Christ was an important part of his life. He was full of life and loved to help others. His smile was contiguous and his sense of humor made you laugh. His laugh was to die for as it came from his whole being. His eyes would twinkle when he got excited. He gave his love and support to everyone.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 7th from 5pm-7pm at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel.

A service will be held at the LDS Stake Center (350 S. Wabash Ave. Redlands) on Friday, January 8th at11am. There will be a private viewing for immediate family only from 10am-10:45am in the Relief Society room. Following the service, immediate family only will head over to Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery (1540 Alessandro Road, Redlands) for the graveside burial. After words, there will be a lunch/dinner to follow at the LDS church (1021 E. Pioneer Ave. Redlands)
