Darryl Mark Warner, DO, 40, of Redlands, California, died on January 31, 2011. Darryl was born and raised in Phoenix, graduated from the University of Arizona and the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, and became an outstanding neurosurgeon in California. He was board-certified in neurosurgery and in 2010 received the great honor of becoming a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Physicians. He was a loving father, husband, brother and son, an obsessive Detroit Red Wings fan and an aficionado of fine guitars. Darryl is survived by his wife Nichole; children Nicholas, Justin and Abigail; father David Warner; siblings Jennifer Newman (Brian), Randy Warner (Tracy) and Lindsay Pickering (Jason); nieces and nephews Logan, Asher, Kortlyn, Adin, Sabrina and Sarah; and the entire Red Wings organization. He was predeceased by his mother, Sharon Kelty. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 4 at 6:00 p.m. at Emerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands. Burial will be in Phoenix on February 11.
