David Beltran was born on January 18, 1937 and passed away peacefully at his home on March 8, 2010, right across the street from where he was born, in Mentone, California. David was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Dave, as he was known to his many friends lived in Mentone, Ca all his life, but his military career took him around the world. He loved to talk about his youth, military days, and all the wonderful experiences his family and friends brought to his life. He came to have an even more personal relationship with the Lord later in life. If you knew Dave, you knew he loved Mentone Little League, The Army and the Air Force, and cruising around Mentone, East Highlands, Redlands, Yucaipa, and anywhere else there was a road to cruise on. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Lynetta (Sue), his daughters Loraine Beltran-Busch, Helen Beltran-Stowers, son David Beltran, Godson, Pastor Palafox, grandchildren Christine Beltran and Andrew Busch, and Great-grandchildren Abel, Cecilia, Aveena, and Christian Beltran. He also leaves behind his sisters Petra Rojas and Ruth Purcell, and generations of nephews and nieces. Dave loved his large extended family and friends. Please feel free to pay respects to him at 6:00 on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Faith Chapel, Mentone. His Burial will be at 9:30 AM on Friday March 19th at Riverside National Cemetery. Rest in Peace, Pops!
