Della Katherine Cohn

Della Katherine Erickson Cohn passed away on December 12, 2011. Della was born on March 3, 1920 at home on the Morrison Ranch in Redlands, where her parents, Andrew and Della Erickson, Swedish immigrants, lived and worked. Della graduated from Redlands High School in 1938. There after she pursued a successful 35+ years career at Bank of America as a trust officer. In retirement Della enjoyed traveling and being with her family and friends. She also found joy in rescuing homeless dogs and contributed to numerous animal shelters. Della's husband David M. Cohn, predeceased her along with her sisters Leona Erickson, Juna Erickson Fisher and her nephew Richard H. Ward, who recently passed in October of this year. Della's surviving relatives are her nephew, Eric Ward, her niece Andrea Epstein and five great nieces. During her last year she resided at Sommerford Place in Redlands, where she was treated with dignity and received excellent care. Services are scheduled for Saturday, January 7 at 1:00 PM at Hillside Memorial Park Mausoleum. A celebration of life will follow.
