Donna Gayle Esquer

Donna Gayle Esquer, Age 92, died Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Loma Linda Hospital, California. She was the daughter of Walter and Mildred Boedeker and was born in Readlyn, Iowa. Donna lived in Iowa and Minnesota, then moved to California in 1955.

Donna was a wife to the late Gilbert Esquer for 47 years. She was preceded in death by her brother Merrill Boedeker, sister Marcia Peters, and sister Virginia Fenske. Donna is survived by her sister Elva Ellermann, stepdaughter Emily Goss, and sons Mark and Micheal Esquer. She is also survived by two step grandchildren and eight grandchildren.

Donna received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from CSU Los Angeles in 1979. She enjoyed making dolls, quilting, and making photo albums. She also enjoyed breakfast at the Kafe Royale in Calimesa with many friends.

The funeral service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran church, Yucaipa, CA.
