Doris Vatine Kellum

DORIS VATINE KELLUM, passed away on December 15th surrounded by loved ones in Redlands, CA. Doris was born August 31, 1932, in Bassett, Virginia to Joseph and Alma Woods. In 1949 she graduated from Henry County Training School in Martinsville VA and later attended the University of Virginia. She worked at Norton AFB as a civilian employee for 21 years. Doris was a member of Star Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bassett VA. She is survived by her sons, Kevin C. Kellum of Salt Lake City and Duan C. Kellum of Redlands; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren; She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Cook of Maryland. She was preceded in death by 2 siblings. Doris will always be known as a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend. Her characteristic smile was her signature trademark. Memorial Services are scheduled for Wednesday January 8th 2025 at 11:00 A.M at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands, CA
