Duane L. King

Duane Ladell King died at Redlands Community Hospital on February 26, 2012. Duane was born in Redlands, CA on November 28, 1931 to Burl and Audie King. He acquired his K through 12 education in Redlands, CA, graduating from Redlands High School in 1950. After graduating high school he joined the United States Navy. When he finished serving his time in the Navy, Duane went to barber school and he opened his own barbershop in Canoga Park, CA. Duane eventually moved back to Redlands where he worked at various citrus packinghouses. Mr. King is survived by his sister, Carole Van Mouwerik, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Hillside Cemetery, in Redlands.
