Edward J. Hage

Edward J. Hage, 67, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2010. Edward was born Aug. 16, 1942 in Ehden, Lebanon, the oldest of 4 children. He graduated in 1963 with a Masters degree in French Studies from the Lebanese University where he met and later married his wife of 45 years, Renee. He then taught at various schools in northern Lebanon for 18 years. He moved with his family to the United States in 1982 to provide them a safer future. As anyone who knew him would tell you, he was a good man, always reliable and caring beyond all expectations. He was a loving husband, a proud father and a wonderful grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Renee, his sons, Dr. Jean-Claude and Dr. Samir Hage, his daughters-in-law Katia and Samar, his 5 grandchildren, his brother Joseph and his entire family in the US and Lebanon. Viewing will be held on Sunday Aug. 1, 2010 from 6:00-10:00 pm at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave, Redlands, CA. Funeral Services will be held on Monday Aug. 2, 2010 at 1:00pm at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic cemetery, 3510 E. Washington St. in Colton. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that contributions be made in his name to St. Ephrem Church, 750 Medford St., El Cajon 92020.
