Eleanor Louise Williams

Eleanor Williams was born in New York City on September 20, 1942, to William and Louise Fritze, and at the age of 87 she passed away from this life at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday October 18, after a lengthy illness at Redlands Community Hospital. She is survived by her sister Lee Anderson and her husband, Raymond Williams of Calimesa, California. Ellie moved to California in 1947 after visiting with friends and falling in love with the weather. After meeting Steve Guy in a local shoe repair shop, he baptized her into Christ. Later, she was introduced to Ray Williams and they have been happily married for 31 years. They had no children. Ellie loved gardening. When spring came around, she wanted to put seeds in the ground. She always raised vegetables, fruit, and flowers. Ray and Ellie traveled a lot and she was very patriotic. Ellie s friendly smile will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Yucaipa, CA. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 11:00am at Yucaipa Church of Christ 33981 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa, CA with a reception to follow. Private burial will be held at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach, CA.
