Eleanor Moreno, 83, of Highland, California passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 in San Bernardino, California. She was born July 1, 1930 in Los Angeles, California to Ismael and Aurora Ballesteros. In 1951 she married Carlos Moreno. Eleanor retired from Transcon Trucking where she worked in the office for 15 years. After retiring, she loved to create beautiful porcelain dolls and their clothing which were made entirely by hand. Many of her dolls won ribbons and recognition at local doll shows. Eleanor was extremely talented and she enjoyed other arts and crafts such as cross stitch, crocheting, and sewing. She also spent time traveling around the world with her husband and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Carlos. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her three daughters: Patricia Ortiz, Linda Hodson, and Cynthia Moreno; Grandchildren: Marisa Hernandez, Billy Jacquez, Stacie Hernandez, Jaime Ward, and Ryan Hodson; Great-Grandchildren; Lauren Hernandez, Baylie Sargent, Oceania Martinez, and Liam Ward. A Celebration of Life service is planned for June 7, 2014 at noon, to be held at Emerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, California 92373
