Eleanor Williams

Eleanor Williams passed away in her sleep, in the early morning hours of June 1, 2009 surrounded by her loved ones. She was 89 years of age. Eleanor or Ellie as she was called was a resident of Redlands for 53 years. She recently moved to Golden Oaks where she loved all the activities, friends, staff and even the food. She was an avid game player and a good friend to all. She never met a person that she didn t befriend. Ellie is survived by her brothers, Dick Williams of Kattering, Ohio, John Williams of New York, Jim & Jo Williams of Champaign, Illinois, her daughter-in-law, Joan Williams of Woodland, California, her grandsons, Chris Williams and Steve Luce of Palm Springs, California, her granddaughter, Traci Long and husband, Randy Long of Woodland, California, her great-granddaughter, Courtney Long also of Woodland, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be joined with her husband, H. Dean Williams and her son, R. Dennis Williams as well as her sister, Virginia Williams who preceded her in death. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, CA 92373. Ellie will be laid to rest next to her husband in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California. Memorial contributions may be made in Ellie s memory to the Veronica Home at 1476 West 6th Street, San Bernardino, California 92411. Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Redlands is in charge of arrangements.
