Elvera Susie Gutierrez-Postema

Elvera Susie Gutierrez-Postema, of Beaumont, California, passed away on February 22, 2014. The memorial services will be held at 10:00a.m. on March 11, 2014 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Redlands, California, 115 W. Olive Ave. Reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Vera was born in Redlands, California, on July 21, 1958. She graduated from Redlands High School and continued on to receive a degree from the University of California-Riverside. Further continued in her education and received a Masters of education from Cal State Northridge, Northridge, California. Vera worked as a Social worker for 21 years at Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California. Vera devoted her time to her two surviving sons, Zachary Postema and Chase Postema, of Beaumont,California. She is survived by her sister, Rachel Garcia of Redlands California and David Gutierrez of Denver, Colorado and Nephew- Matthew Garcia of Redlands, California. Vera is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Stella Gutierrez of Redlands, California.
