Emily Macias Olvera

Emily Macias Olvera was born on August, 16 1977 in Redlands, CA to Julian & Anita Saenz. She passed into Heaven at the age of 44 on January 2, 2022.

Emily was the most loving, selfless and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece, daughter, granddaughter and aunt anyone could know. She gave her heart to everyone and had a passion for taking care of all of those she loved putting others first before herself. She was down to earth and smart, always giving the best advice. She was a friend to all and a teacher when need be. She always had a smile which brightened the day and gave the feeling of life. Emily was a nurturer - mother of three, but mother too many.

In her younger years as a child, Emily was a caretaker from the very beginning taking care of her younger siblings. Her personality was silly and witty. She brought the gift of laughter with her goofy jokes making many wonderful and funny memories.

At the age of 17, Emily met the love of her life Florencio Olvera. They brought out the best of each other, filling each other's life with love and laughter. Her proudest accomplishments were her family and children. There’s nothing else she loved more. She loved fishing at the beach and watching the sunset with her family. She enjoyed family gatherings and barbecuing.

Emily may not always be by our side, but she will always be in our hearts! She is survived by her husband Florencio, children Heavenly, Carlos and Zoey, grandchildren Carter and Giovanni, sisters Yvette, Priscilla and Victoria, brothers Julian and Anthony, mother-in-law Nana (Dorothy), parents Julian and Anita, grandparents Vidal and Jennie, tio Vidal Jr. and countless family & friends she has touched with her grace and kindness.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 19, 2022 at Redlands Christian Center: 804 Church St, Redlands, CA 92374.

Viewing is from 10-11 a.m.

Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m.

Burial will be at Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands at 1 p.m.

A reception celebrating the life of Emily will be held after the burial services at Redlands Christian Center at approx 2:30 p.m.

Flowers for the service can be sent to Redlands Christian Center on Jan 19 by 9am.
