Esther R Walters

My beloved mother, Esther R. Walters (Walker), age 79, of Redlands, CA died November 10, 2016. She was born February 24, 1937 in Loma Linda. She passed after a long illness with multiple sclerosis. Before her illness, she worked as a nurse at Plymouth Village in the 1970’s. She graduated from Redlands High School and received her nursing degree from San Bernardino Valley College in 1959. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading and singing in the Messiah Choir for years during Christmas season at the University of Redlands.
She was a caring mother and loved her family. She was surrounded with love as she passed into heaven. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Christie Walters and is survived by her daughter June Turner; son in law Bruce Turner; 3 grandchildren, Paul, Marc and Heather; 2 great grandchildren, Tyler and Landon.
She was a Christian and had an uplifting and positive spirit.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday December 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, CA 92373. Interment will be private at Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands, CA
