On December 30th 1939, Eugene Joseph Reynoza Sr was born to loving parents; Helen C Reynoza and Joseph M Reynoza in Placentia, CA. Eugene departed his earth side life on July 13th, 2019.
Eugene is survived by his wife of 45 years, Helen L Reynoza, and his children; Ruth Ann Lopez, Eugene Joseph Reynoza Jr., Robert Hernandez, Rebecca Clancy, Sylvia Caudill, and Gina Rivera. As well as 20 Grandchildren and 17 Great-grandchildren.
Eugene had lived in redlands for most of his life. He was active in little league baseball when he was younger, which Im sure is where his love for the Dodgers began, he was a truck driver for 20 years, and he and his wife were active in the church. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus as well as a lector and eucharistic minister for St. Marys, now known as the Holy Name Of Jesus. Gene (Papa as most of us knew him) loved to spend time with his family, fish whenever he had the chance, and loved his wife dearly. Papa recently moved in with his youngest daughter and her family in Lake Elsinore, CA still making it out to his hometown to enjoy the views with the help of his "chauffeur granddaughter" as he would call her.
Papa was known for his loud voice, infectious smile, and his kissable lips as his wife would say. He was the most generous and kind hearted man anyone could go to. As well as the BIGGEST Dodger fan around.
We hope you have the best view of the Dodger games up there, as well as catching the tastiest fish.
You will be missed dearly. We love you forever and always Papa.
