Beloved Mother and Nana, Eva Lemos, 70-year resident of East Highlands, joined her husband of 62 years, Antonio Lemos, Sunday evening, January 28th 2018, at the age of 86. After a long illness she left peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Eva’s life was devoted to caring for her husband, and raising and caring for 4 children, her 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Eva was born and raised in Redlands, California, the daughter of Concepcion and Francisco Jimenez and was the 7th of 13 siblings.
Left to carry on her love and devotion to family are her children, Debra Lemos, of East Highlands, Melida Peltz (Doug); Redlands, Tony Lemos (Linda), Redlands; Ernest Lemos (Melody), Yucaipa.
Grandchildren, Ernesto Lemos, Kimberly Blough, Megan Hall, Doug E. Peltz, Amie Miller, Alex Lemos, Linda Rose Flores, Nicole and Ernie Lemos Jr.
Eva is also survived by her loving siblings Gilbert Jimenez, Redlands and Adrian Morales, Rialto, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Eva.
The family would also like to thank her caregiver, Abby Cortez, for her loving care and comfort in mom’s last days, and VNA Hospice staff.
Rosary will be held February 7th at Emmerson Bartlett in Redlands 6:30-8 pm. A Mass will be held at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in East Highland at 10 am. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands.
