Fay Kemp Farmer, 94, was born to Carrie Payne Kemp and Samuel R. Kemp on September 22, 1917 in Rufe, OK. She was the last surviving member of their 11 children. Fay passed away peacefully in her home on August 12, 2012. Fay was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Paul B. Farmer, in 1997. Paul and Fay moved to Redlands, CA because of the Great Dust Bowl. Thereafter their daughter Paula Dill was born, followed 4 years later by son Tim C. Farmer. She was supportive of all her children s endeavors in school, volunteering for PTA and scout outings. Fay was a member of State Street Christian Church where she helped in the cradle and primary class until it closed. She became a member of the Order of White Shrine in 1972 and Order of the Eastern Star until 1998. Fay was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Paula Dill (Russell) and son Tim C. Farmer (Dodie) Redlands. Grandchildren: Andrea Dill of Aspen, CO and Denise Dill of San Diego, CA; Amy Farmer Allsup (Mike), Redlands, Wynee Farmer Orland (David) Redlands, and Mandy Farmer McIntyre (Marc) Rancho Bernardo, CA. Great-grandchildren; Maxwell Newton, Trent Allsup, Fort Worth, TX and Wade Allsup, Redlands, Tanner Orland, San Jose, Kaley Orland, Redlands, Madeline McIntyre, Columbus, OH, Tori McIntyre and Olivia McIntyre of Rancho Bernardo. Services will be 10:00 am August 20, 2012 at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, CA 92373, followed by private interment.
