Frances Irene Martin

Frances Irene Martin, 83, of Yucaipa, California passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016. She was born in Fort Pierce, Florida on October 31, 1932 to Welby and Agnes Black. Frances moved to Mentone, California in 1966 then later to Yucaipa, where she raised her family.

She received her associates degree from Crafton Hills College. Frances was retired from March Air Force Base, where she was awarded “Auditor of the Year” in her final year of employment.

Frances Martin is survived by her four children: Kathy Stafford, Randy Meyer, Betsy Brisbin, and John Meyer; one sister, Linda Plakstis; nine grandchildren: Marianne Harrison, Shannon Causey, Jennifer Baeza, 
Amy Ruzzamenti, Kristin Polk, Susan Kornher, Scott Meyer, Sarah Cobb, and Seth Brisbin; and twenty seven great grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.

The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm, Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Rocky Point Fellowship 2116 Mentone Blvd. Mentone, Ca. 92359

Pastor George Everett will be officiating services. Reception will take place in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.

Pallbearers will be Randy Meyer, John Meyer, Don Brisbin, Seth Brisbin, Doran Berry, and Manuel Baeza.

The viewing will be from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm, Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel 703 Brookside Ave. Redlands, Ca. 92373

The Graveside service will take place 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Desert Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park 11251 Desert Lawn Drive, Calimesa, Ca. 92320
