In Loving Memory of Frances Marie Riddell

Frances Marie Riddell passed away on March 2, 2018 at the Arbors Memory Care Facility, where she had been a resident for 6 years, in Sparks Nevada. She was the widow of Forest M Riddell after sharing 60 years of marriage together.
Born in Augusta, GA. January 25, 1931, she became the second daughter of Cambridge Resley Tracy and Frances Marie Tracy. She graduated high school and attended Abilene Christian College. She worked as an x- ray technician, was a small business owner and served as a devoted military wife for 24 years.
She was a faithful member of the Redlands/Yucaipa Church of Christ, who devoted her entire life around serving people and her Lord. She spent her time developing programs like the JOY bus so that the church could reach out to the local children in the community and give them a way to attend bible classes. She made Redlands her home for 45 years. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, traveling, care giving and many other things. She had a servant’s heart and will be remembered for her selfless acts of love and kindness to many.
She is survived by her son Steve Riddell, her two daughters Carolyn Notterman and Tracy Gayler, nine grandchildren, Tammy Avilla, Scott Notterman, Kristen Burwell, Tara Craig, Kelly Riddell, Aaron Glider, Elizabeth Riddell, Haley Gayler, Nicole Riddell and 15 great grand children. She was predeceased by her husband Forest M. Riddell, son Clark Riddell, sister Marianne (Mitzi) Godfrey and brother C.Resley Tracy
The funeral services will be held on March 15, 2018 at Emerson Barlett funeral home 11 am, 703 Brookside Ave Redlands CA. 92373 with the internment at the Riverside National Cemetery, 2pm. A Viewing will be held Wednesday the 14th at Emmerson Barlett funeral home frome 5-8 pm.
The family gratefully asks in lieu of flowers that any donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of Frances Marie Riddell.
