Glenda Joy Mcmullen

Glenda Joy McMullen passed away suddenly on July 12, 2011, surrounded by many loved ones. Joy was born on March 19, 1938 to Paul and June Sandling. She lived in several cities until she settled in Calimesa, Ca to help care for her beloved granddaughter Sam. She was also able to meet the love of her life and partner until the death Ruth McIntyre. Joy leaves behind many family members, including two daughters Wendi(Chris) Zaddack and Mary Kinser, one brother Tommy Sandling and one sister Susie Saulsberry. She is survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Joy also will be remembered by the wonderful members of the church she attended and by many friends who supported her though her sobriety and the last few months of her life. They are to numerous to mention, but Ruth and Wendi want to say Thank You and remind them how much Joy cared for all of these wonderful people. Pastor Ken Wells will be officiating a service and celebration of life on Saturday July 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Yucaipa Valley Church of the Nazarene.
