Grace P. Alcantar

Grace P. Alcantar Mom passed away peacefully on April 17th, 2012 at home. Born 88 years ago on February 1st, 1924 in Belvedire, Ca. She attended school in Redlands. Life time resident of Redlands. She was a homemaker, enjoyed traveling and dancing with her husband, Ismael of 54 years. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Ismael Alcantar and great- grandson, Justin Marquez. She is survived by her son, Richard L. Alcantar and wife Sylvia of Redlands; daughter, Gloria Jean Bonner and husband Paul of Sumterville, Florida; sister, Gloria Gautier of Redlands; five granddaughters: Cathy Marquez, Sherrie Resendez, Jennifer Alcantar of Redlands, Barbara Jean Luke and Lisa Bonner of Florida; 13 great-grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Grace was a member of The Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and of the Sociedad Progresista. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Redlands. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 1st at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church on Columbia St., at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands.
