Grant J. Parrish

Grant J. Parrish 90 Years of Age Born 01/07/1920 Safford Arizona Died December 19, 2010 Yucaipa, California December 19, 2010 Grant J. Parrish died December 19, 2010 of complications from renal failure at his residence in Yucaipa where he resided for 32 years. Parrish was born in Safford Arizona and was married to Rita Parrish for 55 years who preceded him in death in 2002. Parrish worked primarily in the Coachella Valley area as a master carpenter for approximately 35 years. Parrish served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II from 1942 to 1945. He is survived by two sons, Terry Parrish of Hemet and Daryl Parrish of Yucaipa his daughter Deborah Putnam of Montgomery Texas, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A memorial service shall be held at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside on January 7, 2011 at 11:30 am.
