Gregg Ballard Palmer passed away on March 26, 2015 at his home in Redlands, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Gregg was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He was devoted to his family and felt deeply blessed for his time with them. As the owner of the Pumpkin Patch and Live Oak Canyon Christmas Tree Farm in Yucaipa, Gregg built a special place for families throughout Southern California to create wonderful memories, traditions, and bonds at a truly unique place that providing holiday traditions, farming and entertainment. Gregg was a very active person with many varied interests and had a deep love and gratitude for nature. He was a friend to many, optimistic, enthusiastic, adventurous, and had an abundant and generous nature. He liked working with people and being creatively involved in good causes. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gregg was a faithful believer and enjoyed serving in scouting, youth programs, events, and giving of his time and resources. Gregg was born on May 27, 1957 in Pasadena, California to Edward D. and Marilyn B. Palmer and was the oldest of 10 children. Gregg was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marilyn Palmer and sister Shauna Helie. He is survived by his beloved wife Wilhelmina Palmer of 32 years, devoted children Erin (Matt) DiNinno, Sean, Caitlin and Ashton Palmer. Cherished grandchildren Devan, Kaiden, Phoenix and Layne Eden DiNinno. Mother-in-law Connie Graff, Father-in-law Merle (Alice) Farrar. Siblings Sherell (Stacy) Passey, (Daniel Helie) Douglas, David (Kathy), Brian (Rose), Matthew (Michele), Brett (Lisa), Patrice (Dallas) McKinnon, Christopher (Dana) Palmer. Brother-in-law Lance (Sylvia) Farrar, Sister-in-laws Sabrina Farrar and Pam Pasley. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 3rd at 10:00 a.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel at 350 Wabash Ave., Redlands (Corner of 5th and Wabash) followed by an interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
