Harold F. Jones

Harold F. Jones, 76, passed away on August 8, 2013 in Redlands, CA. He was born December 2, 1936 in Otis, New Mexico. Harold was a long time resident of Fontana, CA. He served in the Army National Guard in New Mexico for 8 years. He was a welder by trade and worked at Kaiser Steel in Fontana until his retirement. Harold married Mary Lou Smith, his childhood sweetheart, and they had 3 children. Kevin Jones of Redlands, CA; Carolyn Barnes of Victorville, CA and Andrew Jones of Calimesa, CA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren (his pride and joy) 2 great grandchildren and 1 sister, Naomi Sartain of Amarillo, TX. Harold enjoyed fishing with the grandchildren, watching sports, country music and Nascar. He will be missed. A celebration of Harold s life will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, CA 92373 with a reception immediately following at the funeral home.
