Herminia Mina Rodriguez

Herminia Rodriguez, known simply as Mina, age 63, resident of Yucaipa, CA passed away in Portland, OR on May 25th, 2016. Born October 6th, 1952 to parents Joaquin Silva Auila and Maria De Refujo Parra Barajas. She is survived by her son Lee Rodriguez, his wife Kristi Rodriguez, and their two children, her husband’s children, Julian Rodriguez III, Julie Rodriguez and her children. She is also survived by her brother Luis Silva, sisters Maria De Jesus Silva and Fabiola Silva, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and countless friends. After completing school in Mexico, she began working in the United States. Eventually, she moved to CA and was introduced to her Husband Julian Rodriguez Jr. Once in Ca, Mina began working as a house cleaner and eventually opened her own business. She worked in the Redlands and Yucaipa markets for over 35 years. During this time she started her own catering business, opened a restaurant, and continued to care for those who were close to her. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on July 1st, 2016 at the Holy Name of Jesus Parish off of West Olive Avenue in Redlands, CA. Interment will be at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, CA.
