Jack Kay Denapole

Jack Kay Denapole, of Redlands passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013. Jack is survived by his wife, Kathy; his children, Susan Beatty of Anaheim; Terry Denapoli of Anaheim; Dale Denapole of Walnut Creek; Step-children, Rhonda Denapole of Walnut Creek; Doug Beeman of Irvine; and Lauri Gillespie of Highland. He also leaves 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and 2 sisters. Jack was born June 11, 1926 in Franklinville, NY. At 17, he joined the Navy and served in Japan with the Occupation Forces. In 1947 he married Genevieve Marie Long, moving to California in 1951. They lived in Altadena, Covina and Costa Mesa. After her death, Jack retired and moved to Hemet and subsequently married Kathy in 1990. They moved to Redlands in 2000. Jack was an electronics/avionics engineer and an accomplished carpenter, but is best known among friends and family for his storytelling. Visitation will be 10 to 10:30am, and Funeral Services will start at 10:30am on Monday, August 12th, 2013 at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands, CA. Burial will follow at Fairhaven Memorial Park, 1702 E. Fairhaven Ave., in Santa Ana, CA. The family invites you to join them at the Celebration of Life, located at "The Villa", 510 E. Katella Ave., Orange, CA.
