James A. Preston

James A. Preston, 75, passed away on June 19, 2012. He is survived by his wife Jeanne Preston, children, LeAnn Bell and James D. Preston, mother Ruby Preston, sister Gloria Preston, brother Robert Preston, grandchildren Jacob Preston, Sophia Bell, and James Bell. James, born in Texas, moved with his family from Texas to Fontana, California when he was a child. James received his Jurist Doctorate from USC in the late 1960 s. He served as an accountant, Deputy District Attorney and Deputy Public Defender for the county of San Bernardino, State Compensation Fund Attorney, and private practice attorney throughout his career. He retired in 2002. His family and friends will remember him for his interest in people, love of life and living it to the fullest. Riding his Harley around the United States, bicycling the coast of California, windsurfing, sailing and desert motorcycle trips, were among a few of the many adventures James enjoyed.
