James (Jim) David Bookhout, passed away peacefully at his home in Redlands, CA on November 6th 2016.
Jim was born in Endicott New York on November 2, 1946 and the family moved to California when he was 5 years old. He graduated from San Gabriel High School in 1964 before attending San Diego State University. Jim and his family lived in Claremont, Alta Loma, Chino, Etiwanda, and finally in Redlands California.
In 1973 Jim married Linda Lee Stemrich and they had two children, Jonathan and Kylee. Sadly Linda and Jonathan both passed away in 2010.
Jim was very active in the community. He was philanthropic and participated in many local charitable organizations as a Board Member.
Jim was the administrator of a large medical practice in the high desert, and he was a Senior VP, Manager of Citizens Business Bank before becoming working as an independent business management consultant. Jim also enjoyed working in the Admissions and Ticketing department at the Los Angeles County Fair.
Jim married Treva Webster in 2014 and they resided in Redlands. Jim and Treva were active in the community, and especially enjoyed their membership The San Bernardino-Loma Linda Crossroads Rotary club.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Linda and his son Jonathan.
He leaves his daughter Kylee, sister Marcia Bradley, brother Jay Bookhout, step-father Reverend Herb Shears, his mother-in-law Eileen Stemrich, his brother-in-law Rick, his wife Treva, his nieces and nephews, his cousins, his step-children and his grandson Luca.
