James Lance Snyder
Born July 15,1958 to Jim and Hazel Snyder in Santa Barbara, CA and died Jan 1,2015 in Redlands at the age of 56. He was preceded in death by his father James Snyder in 1980. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Fairbanks and stepfather, Don of Yucaipa, brother Doug Snyder (Nancy), of Redlands,Sister Sandra Coranaugher (Bill), of Oklahoma, step brother Angel Selgado and step sister Jenny Chaves of Redlands and many nephews and nieces. Lance had many relatives and friends, especially George Moreno of Redlands who was like a son to him. Lance graduated from Redlands High School, class of 1976, and continued his education at Cal State San Bernardino where he earned a degree in accounting and business management. He found school challenging and graduated with excellent grades. Lance was a very kind person always willing to help those in need. He enjoyed exploring arts making sculptures and loved cooking. He worked for General Dynamics , Speaker Crafts and at the time of his death he was employed with Genco. Lance will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. A private family service will be held at Emmerson-Barlett Memorial on January 22, 2015 followed by a public service at the Redlands Elks Club, 663 New York Street, at 2:00pm on February 21, 2015 for all his friends, family and co-workers. Lance will be buried with his father at Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands, California. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Heart Association in memory of Lance Snyder, Gift Processing Center, P.O. box 78851, Phoenix, AZ 85062-8851.
